Staff Lee D Posted October 12, 2018 Staff Share Posted October 12, 2018 Which Affinity app are you using and which presets? If adjustment presets you would need to adjust and add/create a new preset and then delete the other if no longer needed.
Polygonius
There is no unified system. In fact there are several preset-systems for tools/filters/sytles/brushes/macros... all with different handling and no one of them is really handy! Some you can move and rename, some not, some are overwrite-able, direct duplicate....other not.... there is absolutely no unified system! This whole preset-point is one of the most mis-concepts in Affinity. It would be really nice if there where a global preset-editor where you can order, rename, move, duplicate... group and sub-group.... but there is nothing like that! lepr 1 Quote OSX 12.5 / iMac Retina 27" / Radeon Pro 580X / Metall: on! --- WWG1WGA WW! It's not necessarily about speed improvements either, its just bad practice to have clutter when there is no need, whatever benefits you gain in one area is negated by disorganisation in this area. A simple thing like creating a category and not being able to rename immediately, then having to go back into a menu to select rename category, a total waste of time on the initial category creation, it should be Create New Category: name highlighted so that you can either press Enter to accept the default or type your desired name for the category to overwrite the default name with your own. Being able to Move to... another category, delete more than one item, arranging by... all little gems that need to be introduced.
