Hi DavidTkocz

You must have to enable Force Pixel Alignment, then set the stroke aligment to Align Stroke to Inside or Align Stroke to Outside from the Stroke width button on the context toolbar to make it fit to the pixel grid.

Let me know if you still have problems.

Miguel, I ran into this same problem while making the Flip X + Y cursor demo in another post, but I was not able to fix the issue because I was using a 1 pixel wide line, not a box, so when I tried to use the Align Inside or Align Outside options, AD just screwed up my stroke dashes... In either case, the one pixel black line renders as a 2 pixel-wide gray line :/

Below I attached some screen grabs of before and after. Do you know what's going on and how to get a 1 pixel wide black line to render properly? Thanks for your help Miguel!

For lines, you need to have the snapping working on half-pixels (not whole pixels).

To do it, go to View ▹ Show Grid and enable Snap to Grid. Make sure you have Force Pixel Alignment disabled.

You should now be able to edit objects and nodes positions in half pixels. The more you zoom in the more precision you get from the snapping when you set the grid to Use automatic grid in View ▹ Grid and Axis Manager... dialog.

Check this video. Note that i have Pixel View enabled in the video so we can see the blurriness when the path (line) is placed on whole pixels.

I tried it using Force Pixel Alignment > Move by Whole Pixels and it works great, it doesn't let the cursor land in the middle of a pixel, only the edges, ensuring no aliasing... Awesome!
