Petar Petrenko
Hi, I can't fine tune the height of a table row because in a "Transform" palette total height of a table, instead of a selected row, is displayed. Staff MEB Posted October 9, 2018 Staff Share Posted October 9, 2018 Hi Petar Petrenko, Go to menu View ▸ Studio ▸ Table to display the Table panel, select the row you want to set the height in the table then insert the height value in the respective input field in the Cell section in the Table panel. Aries
I want to change the width of a column without changing the size of the column immediately to the right of that column. All columns to the right of the one changing should just move to the right but maintain their respective width settings. Can anyone help? Petar Petrenko
Thank you, MEB. I forgot about this panel and looked for it in "Table" menu. Staff MEB Posted October 9, 2018 Staff Share Posted October 9, 2018 Hi Aries, Welcome to Affinity Forums Press and hold ⇧ (shift) then click and drag over the separator (between two columns) in the header area. A tooltip should display the dimensions of the column and the table will increase its width as you drag the separator. How do I do this when using the Table Panel?
Staff MEB Posted October 9, 2018 Staff Share Posted October 9, 2018 Hi Aries, Unfortunately it's not possible to set this as the default behaviour. I've filled a report sometime ago asking for a way/toggle to select between the two behaviours but it was closed as by design. I will add a link to this thread in the original report in the hope the dev team will reconsider this even if for later. For now it is working as intended.
