Printing on hp printer

Recommended Posts

I am learning this wonderful programme and love it. Trying to make greeting cards to print on home printer but the do not come out the right size. I.e. artboard is set to  7” by 10”, it prints approx 5” by 4”. I do not know if this is printer issue or i am setting it up wrongly

Hi Susie, which app are referring to, Photo or Designer?

The Documents menu has a print function which I find pretty limited. To get greater control over printing, I export my project first. Then print the exported file via the Share button.

I've explained in a bit more detail on this earlier post. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/69697-paper-size-error-when-printing-daddywx/

Printing and Exporting are the same on both Designer and Photo. I tried both ways and got the same result either way so that is not the problem.

Did you set up your new document as a 'Print' document?
