ianrb
If the develop team are looking for something to do; I could suggest speeding up "flatted" . The time to flatten is about the same no matter how many layers there are . Or; am I missing something? Is there a better way than Document >flatten? Staff Callum Posted October 8, 2018 Staff Share Posted October 8, 2018 Hi Ianrb, This is likely the best way to do this how long would you say it takes roughly? If possible could you provide one of your documents so I can try this at my end and see how long it takes? Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP. ianrb
Sorry Callum; I have been missing the hit on the "follow' button I have worked out the program is working on adjustments before flattening --- yep; typical impatient photo editor  . There is no doubt we do expect a lot of computers and programs when it comes to things we do to a photo --- I'm blown away with the speed of Affinity mirroring; it's so fascinating to watch it happening Cheers
ianrb
Just for interest Callum. It took about 30 second to flatten this 30 inch photo; "Bush Art ", after it had been left to finalize adjustments --- jpg is 60mb and tiff 98mb which is surprisingly small when everything is considering. The images were around 30mb tiffs No idea if that is good bad or otherwise. I absolutely love the mirroring tool --- have I said that before ??
