any reason why page up/down don't work?

Recommended Posts

I'm curious as to why the page up and down keys don't have the obvious effect. They don't seem to do anything. (I'm on a Mac; I suppose this might be platform specific.) Obviously there are many ways to do the same thing, I just wondered since it seems kind of obvious.

Publisher uses ctrl + PageUp/Down

Edit: but you can change that if you want via Preferences.

Where in preferences? I did look through there but didn't see it. Maybe I just overlooked it.

Sorry to be so dense, I must have just missed it. On my Mac, it has them defaulted to Apple-pg up/dn, which I'd have never guessed. I've got it sorted now, thanks.

Thanks to all for this thread. I went through the same thing wondering why it didn't work and not seeing any obvious settings.

Edit: Kinda weird Home/End aren't set to First/Last page either. After setting all those I breathed a sigh of relief as I easily paged through my document. Really wonder why it's not the default.
