SamMN
See screenshot. Brush width seems to be the only adjustable slider that actually applies to the drawn line. Am I missing something obvious?
Staff Sean P Posted October 5, 2018 Staff Share Posted October 5, 2018 Hi SamMN, I presume you've drawn this curve using a mouse. The Size and Opacity Variance is set to work based on pressure. Drawn curves using the mouse by default have a flat 100% pressure curve applied to them. If you go into the Stroke Panel and adjust the pressure curve, you will start to see the Size and Opacity Variance take hold.
Chris_K
Hi SamMN That's because it requires the vector brush to be used with one of the controllers (eg velocity or pen pressure form a tablet). You can adjust the size variance using the pressure option on the stroke panel They layout persona has this to supprt any afdesign file you may open but it does not actually allow you to manipulate the brush itself. this is similar to opening an afdesign file in Photo. When Designer 1.7 becomes available if it is installed the relevant persona will become active in Publisher and you will be able to do more intricate brush editing there Cheers Serif Europe Ltd - Check the latest news at www.affinity.serif.com
