New to Affinity and Need help

I have downloaded a template and trying to change the wording.  In the layers panel (attached image) it says double click to edit, but when I double click it doesn't allow me to edit.  Any suggestions or guidance will be much appreciated.

Hi Ray P,

For you to edit the text in this file it would need to be a Text Object however it is a Pixel Object was this template created specifically for Affinity?

This is probably a Photoshop template using a Smart Object for the ‘Double Click to Edit’ layer. The Affinity apps can’t preserve Smart Object functionality, which will be why the layer was rasterized.

Thanks Callum and Alfred.  No it was for AI.  I guess just recreating the text in Affinity would be my best option
