Schwabby
I am trying to make the switch from the laptop to my iPad Pro. All of my files are in Box.com. Is there a way to import a file or image from Box.com to affinity? thanks!
Staff stokerg Posted October 3, 2018 Staff Share Posted October 3, 2018 Hi Schwabby and Welcome to the Forums, When you use the Import/Open from Cloud option in Affinity, you should see Box as an option listed under locations. If not, tap on Edit and you should be able to enable it
Schwabby
Perfect! Not sure if Place Image is the same as Import/Open (assuming so) but that worked! Thank you so much! This really is an amazing app. schwabby stokerg
DM1
@Schwabby Place image will place an image layer into your project. You can check in the layer studio and see whether the layer are labelled pixel or image. If you want to edit that 'placed' layer at the pixel level you will need to 'rasterize' the Layer first. The Rasterize option is listed in the Command menu. This converts the image layer to a pixel layer. Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen).
