Strange NIK Collection problem.. AP - macOS

Downloaded the demo version of NIK Collection.. 

It looks like most of the plugins doesn't work.. I got a couple of them to load, but most of them doesn't.. they just freezes loading (picture)

I can close the plugin window, but after AP doesn't really work anymore.. I can't choose another plugin, neither quit AP. I have to force quit and reopen the program. 

Is this a common thing? Thought I wanted to test before buy.. 

Using a MacBook Pro with macOS Mojave 10.14. Affinity Photo: 1.6.7

And a little funny thing, the two that says its working, is none of the two working :-)

Could you give me a list of which plugins are working and which aren't as only some of the NIK plugins work.

This is a known issue on the Mac. The old free version from Google worked/run fine (with a few issues but did work) but the updated/new version from DxO doesn't. Most plugins freeze as you noticed.

@MEB do you know if they changed anything in the download link you posted? 

 

A few few months ago I downloaded the old free NIK and installed it on my MacBook Pro, and it worked fine.. 

yesteday I was going to download the same for my iMac, but after installing I got only the option to buy or use it as demo.. 

Do you know if the old version is not free anymore? :-)

Hi 276ccm,
Go to menu Affinity Photo ▸ Preferences, Photoshop Plugins section, press the Authorise Global button on the bottom right then Authorise button again from the dialog that will open. This should fix your issue.
