mkgast21
I want to start by saying that I really LOVE my experience with Affinity Design so far. I've been able to take a lot of excess work off of our one design guy in marketing (he's 100% adobe but loves what he's seen when i go through affinity with him), and expedite a lot of items for my team. We're overhauling some customer facing collateral, and it requires that we link to existing documents from text. Our customers don't want an email with 5-10 different links, and I would love to be able to add links to text when creating PDFs in Affinity Design so I don't need to trouble our one other resource with this task. The organization has offered to buy me Adobe products or comparable software titles to accomplish this, but if it's a feature request that could be implemented in a reasonable time frame I'd rather just stick with Affinity and coordinate with someone in the office on link details. Has there been an expressed desire for this feature? Is there even a long term plan to implement this? I follow the feature roadmap as closely as possible, but hadn't seen this on there yet. Thanks for a great product and any insight that can be provided!
Dave Harris
Links are something we will implement in due course, but probably not this year.
