AmpedAndy
Is there a way to save shapes that I frequently use to the shape selector? (sort of like saving brushes) For example I use the circle with a cross, like you'd see on a "no smoking" sign. Currently I copy and paste that shape from a file of shapes that I frequently use. I'm just wondering if there is a quicker way to go about that. Quote iMac 21.5" Mid 2011 2.5 GHz i5
Staff MEB Posted March 31, 2015 Staff Share Posted March 31, 2015 @AmpedAndy Currently no. The Media Browser should be improved/revamped later to let you save your shapes/symbols in a library (still may take a while though). JeremyH
I see this post is over a year old. Is this still something that is being actively pursued?
Staff MEB Posted September 6, 2016 Staff Share Posted September 6, 2016 Hi JeremyH, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) There's a new Assets panel for this in Designer 1.5 Beta. You can access it going to menu View ▸ Studio ▸ Assets. Note that you need to keep the Mac App Store version installed to be able to validate/run the Beta. Also, files created or saved in the Beta are not compatible with previous versions.
