"Help has stopped working"

Sometimes I close the application, and every time I close the help feature, Windows shows a message saying that it crashed. This happens about 2 seconds after I close the application.

For help reproducing this, I'm using Windows 7 64bit with the latest Publisher beta (1.7.0.133).

Hey Reubend, welcome to the Affinity Forums.

I haven't seen this message before with the Affinity apps so I'm having a stab in the dark here... Could you try resetting your Internet Explorer? It shouldn't remove your bookmarks so don't worry about that.

In Internet Explorer, just go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Reset.
