Tom Schülke
Hi , I had some images i took from an indesign document that i only could copy in indesign and than paste to publisher... Now what does they mean ? They are missing? But i can see them in my document.. and still they are linked ? When thy are missing, how can i see them those not existing linked images, that have no path they point to ? one thing i noticed... some images have a cross inside other s dont.. seems these are the highlighted images ? so the x is an indicator, that its only my mind that can see the nonexisting images ? fde101
How can something be linked if it was copied and pasted? Unless APub wrote it out as a file somewhere this shouldn't be possible so it makes sense that it would be missing from the disk as it was probably never there to begin with... stmartin
Same here. This is odd and should definitely not work this way. Quote iMac 27" with macOS Mojave (German)
Staff MEB Posted September 27, 2018 Staff Share Posted September 27, 2018 Hi Tom Schülke, Do you mind sharing one or two pages of that document with the problematic images (both the missing/link issue and the cross above the images on canvas) please? Thank you. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software

Old Bruce
No file path = Missing but I don't understand why the images were not Embedded and were Linked by pasting them in. Looks like a nasty bug. Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
