Philip Reeves
I'm using the Beta version of Publisher and have downloaded upgrades as they are announced. This week I was invited to download an upgrade. A third of the way through the download, it stopped. Clicking on this file in my downloads folder merely shows an unfinished download and gives no way forward in continuing the download. Today, another notification arrived, so I clicked on it as instructed. This simply takes you to the Forum which does not appear to feature a download section. Is this just me being stupid or is there something wrong on the system? Any constructive advice would be welcome. Thank you!
Staff Chris B Posted September 27, 2018 Staff Share Posted September 27, 2018 Hey Phillip, You should be able to grab the download from either of these links. I wasn't sure if you were on Mac or Windows so I've supplied both: Win - https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/68379-affinity-publisher-public-beta-170133-win/ Mac - https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/68378-affinity-publisher-public-beta-170133-mac/ Perhaps try a different browser if you're still having issues. Let me know if you get stuck Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
Philip Reeves
Hi Chris, Very many thanks for your rapid and very helpful response. It worked perfectly and I am now using the updated version. I should have mentioned that I'm working on a Mac - sorry! Despite the learning curve, I'm really enjoying Publisher. I'm really impressed with the Forum ! Kind regards, Philip Chris B
