Stroke Pressure Curve in Photo: first and last point in sync?

Recommended Posts

Hello!

So, I've been having some trouble with the pressure curve points. I don't remember if it had also occurred on Designer, but it's pretty common in Photo.

I create a line and, when I'm going to set a custom curve, the first and last points are moving in sync. How can I solve this? Sometimes, after lots of clicking, I get them to move individually.

Check it out:

Click either end once to remove the dot, and they now move independently.

You can also hold down the alt/option key & drag one end point to move it independently of the other end point.

If the two ends points in the pressure graph show a tiny dot in the center, then they move in sync.

I understood that, but I can't find a way to click on the single dot and "deselect" the other one. I'm not in my pc now, but I'll check it out.

I'll write back when I test it out.

I too find it fiddly to click the dot, it seems to reactivate when I then click drag. IMHO it is a pretty naff bit of UI design!

Still R C-R has given us a good alternative, which I'll try to adopt in future.

What works for me is to click once on the end point I want to move, pause briefly until the dots disappear, & only then click & drag on that end point.

So, I just realized that clicking once (without dragging) on the end point changes it's mode to sync/no sync. I'm almost always using a wacom, so it's a little harder to click without slightly moving, thus, I didn't realize it before. Anyway, the alt modifier will do it nicely.

Thanks for all the answers!
