Affinity photo performance on 2018 IPad 6th Gen

Hi,

Before I purchase affinity photo for the iPad, does anyone know what the performance will be like on a 2018 IPad, 6th Gen 128gb ? Note this is NOT the pro version and only has 2gb of RAM

My primary interest is focus stacking of Macro pictures. Just worried that with only 2gb of RAM it may be too slow.

In terms on focus stacking, the iPad should be able to handle this without slowing down too much, but this will depend on the size and quantity of the RAW files themselves!

Thanks for that Dan, it looks like I’ll probably be ok. To be honest most of the time I’ll be working with JPEG’s rather than raw images.

Hi, I use iPad 9.7 5th Generation WiFi 32 Gb. More than 50% of my space is empty. Will affinity photo work fine on my iPad?

Hi @SanchitMakhija,

I'm happy to confirm that your iPad is compatible with Affinity apps and you should be able to download the Affinity app without issue - however with only around 16GB of free space, you may find this is quickly used by Affinity in opening/saving documents etc.
