gordo
If I have a photo where a Black only drop shadow covers a spot color, when the file is exported as a PDF the Black only drop shadow knocks out rather than overprints. This happens whether the shadow it set to "Normal" or "Multiply". Am I doing something wrong?

Chris_K
Hi gordo It seems we have a general issue with the overprint black option so I have passed this on to the development team Thanks for reporting this Serif Europe Ltd - Check the latest news at www.affinity.serif.com
gordo
The issue might be related to this this thread about incorrect embedding of icc profiles which causes 100% black to become a 4/C black. The solution at the end of that thread was embedding the correct profile using a different application.
