Kobold
Sometimes I need to add some fx shadow fx, but the shape for that is already used in another combination. So the easiest way for me would be to use that same shape, but with no fill and no line, just to use it to add the wanted fx shadow to my graphic. But that does not seem to work. As soon as I click no fill ........ the fx is gone. Is there any way of doing this? Think about a transparent shape that has no influence on graphic, but gives me the chance to add fx with that shape? Would be very helpful if there´s an easy way of doing so! :-)
HVDB Photography
In Affinity Photo Duplicate the shape Remove the fx settings Change the fill to black Lower the opacity of the layer Add a gaussian blur live filter Quote Affinity Photo 2.3.1 Laptop MSI Prestige PS42 Windows 11 Home 23H2 (Build 22631.3007) - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8565U CPU @ 1.80GHz 2.00 GHz - RAM 16,0 GB
Polygonius
The easiest way is maybe open the fx-panel of that shape and set the object-opacity to zero. Then you will get just the shadow, or glow... nothing else! Aammppaa, HVDB Photography, jdeezee and 1 other 4 Quote OSX 12.5 / iMac Retina 27" / Radeon Pro 580X / Metall: on! --- WWG1WGA WW! Kobold
Thanks for that, but I need also fx shadows like inner shadow, or 3D fx, so the black shape option does not work in such cases. :-)
Polygonius
You get also Inner-shadows or 3D or all other of the FX with object-opacity= zero! jdeezee and Kobold 1 1 Quote OSX 12.5 / iMac Retina 27" / Radeon Pro 580X / Metall: on! --- WWG1WGA WW! Yeah this forum is (mostly) so fresh "just-the-item" :-) No steve-jobs-is-holy-cleriks or i-know-it-better-than-you-people!!! I learned so much here, i can not say enough thanks! This just-help without any RTFM or i-know-it-better-attitudes and the ability to take "critic" as just "suggestion in love" make not be important, but for me its one of the highlights of 2000 years occidental cultur!
