A (different) problem with editing from iPhoto

Recommended Posts

I am having a problem trying to edit from iPhoto. I am running Affinity 1.6.7, Mac OS 10.13.6, iPhoto Version 3.0 (3291.13.210) and get an error

"The operation couldn’t be completed. (PAImagingErrorDomain error 1019.)"

Any ideas?

Hi RWT,

Welcome to the forums :)

This isn't an issue we've come across before, but through some research on the web I think I've found a solution.

Firstly, the error code 1019 usually means the files aren't accessible, be them missing or unreadable.

I'd recommend attempting to repair the library using the following instructions, but please make a backup of your library (preferably on an external hard drive) if possible first.

Just to avoid any confusion for those who might refer to this topic in the future, the name of the Apple app is Photos, not iPhoto.
