Insert Page Number of a Reference Anchor

Recommended Posts

I've got a block of text that I'd like to have the page number of some other piece of text elsewhere in my document.

I can't figure out how to mark a piece of text as something that'd I'd like to get a reference too.

I can't figure out how I'd drop in a page number to a reference.

It's easy to understand why you can't figure it out: it's not possible to do any of those things at this point.

Unfortunately, that is not precisely the same. There is a difference between (a) compiling an index and (b) placing an anchor and referring to information related to this anchor (such as page number, paragraph content, paragraph number etc.) elsewhere. I must confess I haven’t tried the index function yet, but I imagine it will be extremely difficult to make this a workaround for a proper cross-reference system. Hmm. :(
