dominik
I searched the forum but did not find this one... Create a new document. Create a text frames, switch to the Move Tool. Make sure the text frame is selected and hover the mouse cursor above e.g. the left transformation handle > the mouse cursor changes to a double sided arrow. Now double click. APup instantly freezes. Can anyone reproduce this? d. PatrickOfLondon
Hi Dominik, Yes, I can reproduce it. And I don't have to select the Move tool: just stay with the Text Frame tool, then double-click the left transformation handle. I wonder if this text frame bug is related to another one I found, here:
Staff Jon P Posted October 2, 2018 Staff Share Posted October 2, 2018 Hi, Thanks for reporting this and the clear recipe, I've logged it for the developers to look into. Serif Europe Ltd. - www.serif.com
MickRose
This still crashes version 139. Create an empty text box, double click either the left or right handles - it doesn't crash but it goes into a continuous whirling loop.
