tarkadian Posted September 21, 2018 Share Posted September 21, 2018 I think it would be a useful feature if the origin point of the Crop Tool could be moved to one of the Standard Transform grid positions. This would make squaring up scanned pages a lot faster. The straighten tool needs to stay on screen after the second point is selected so you can adjust the position more accurately, this includes being able to zoom in to set the begin and end point Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Currently I have to use other programs, (free ones to achieve something like this). If I want to crop out a POT image, say 4096 x 4096 from an image say 5000x5000, starting at 904, 904. I can't do this in Affinity as far as I can see, other than lots of frustrating GUI dragging. I can do this in other programs like Irfanview in batch mode. In short, it shouldn't be hard to program to add the extra textboxes to the GUI in Photo.
