Change the language per document possible?

But how? I have to click on every text and change it in 'character' section

In document set up there is no such option

As long as you use Text Styles for all your text, you can edit the Text Style named Base and change its Spelling Language to the one you want for the document. All the other Text Styles provided by Publisher inherit from Base.

If you use your own Text Styles, you can accomplish the same by making sure that they all inherit from one text style, whose language you will set.

If I use several fonts in a document and I'd like to do what you're suggesting - creating my own text styles - in order to have the language changed, Im going to have to manually create a style for each used font.

Isn't there a way to just change the language for all the text frames or document at once?

I tried to create a new document with a different language and it doesn't give me that option either.

There must be a trick here - seems a rather simple problem.

Thank your for your help!

If you use the default text styles provided by Affinity, then simply edit the Base text style and set the language you want there.

If you use your own text styles, then simply start with one that all the others are based on, and set the language there.

If you have multiple languages, then yes, you would need a character text style for each language. It could specify the language and leave all other settings unchanged.
