I make a PDF with MS-Publisher 2003 on Windows 10, without changing the name: affinity-pub-1.jpg.258a1ab2aa1be3282e988c949f7d6d5d.jpg

I open the PDF in Affinity Publisher Beta. Everything is acting okay.

I save this new file.

Proposed name: the old one. I think the ending will be added automatically.

A strange warning appears. There should not be a file with this name already... Maybe I just can't remember? I'm stupid. I save: Yes.

The new saved file only has the old name of the MS-Publisher, and it has also its Icon... The old file, the original Ms-Publisher file is overwritten! If you open it, the message appears: Can't open it...

Willkommen in den Serif Affinity Foren :)

Thanks for reporting this bug. I will report it to the developers. Please add the extension manually or avoid filenames with periods, for now.
