blend.thumb.png.786376500ca90ab08cf55a133aa68246.pngHi,

can anyone explain why these two images blend?

They are saved as PNG without background. As you can see the Opacity is 100% and Blend is "Normal".

P.S.

Sorry, I sent it to a wrong forum. It is for Photo.

I didn't set any transparency to the object. Just selected it, make inverse selcetion and delete the background.

@MattyWS can you tell me if there is any solution to this problem?

Can you provide the original PNG file(s) so we can look at them?

The attached STR_47B.png file is indeed semi-transparent so when placed on top of STR_47A it lets you see through it.

But how did it happen?

I opened a JPG image, select the object, invert the selection and delete the background. After that exported as PNG. No transparency added at all.

What I did wrong?

You may have had your selection tolerance to something that wasn't 0% (20% is default) which could bleed the selection maybe? I'm also not entirely sure how the Contiguous toggle affects selection but that could also be a factor.

I don't think that selection tolerance has anything with transparency. It only determines how accurate is the selection.
