Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

There's no auto-trace feature in Affinity Designer. There was some discussion about the possibility to create a (bitmap) selection and convert it to a path, which would work here as your images are clean black and white silhouettes, but this wasn't implemented yet in AD. Currently the only way you have is do it manually (quite laborious for animals's silhouettes i know) or using a third party tracing software. Due to the nature of the images you are using even a simple/basic auto-tracing software could give you a good result.
