Apple Pencil vs. Hand

Recommended Posts

Working on an iPad Pro 10.9 (first generation), Affinity Photo version 1.6.9.81. When working with the Apple Pencil if my palm touches the ? mark the screen pops all the suggestions up. Other times the palm will hit a tool and that changes. This is more distracting than anything but is there a way to turn the menus off or hide them completely until needed again? Is this an Affinity problem or just the iPad not correctly recognizing the palm rejection?

Do you have ‘Touch for gestures only’ switched on under ‘Preferences > Tools’?

By the way, you should see an ‘Edit’ link at the bottom of each of your posts. You can use it to correct typos at any time, as long as the thread hasn’t been locked.

Devs appear to have made AP Touch for Gestures conform with AD touch for gestures. Pity they didn't do it the opposite way. Maybe needs an option to make touch for gestures exactly that!
