Michael Ray Photography
Is anyone else having issues with Macros not loading in Affinity Photo when using a Magic Mouse or having to tap MULTIPLE times on a Magic Trackpad on a Mac to load a macro? I had to connect a wired mouse in order to select a macro in the macro library and that works more consistently but once in a while still doesn't respond...... 2017 iMac Core i7, 40gb RAM. Staff Gabe Posted September 11, 2018 Staff Share Posted September 11, 2018 Hi @Michael Ray Photography, Welcome to the forums. By Default, the trackpad has tap-to-click disabled. You would have to enable that in System Preferences > Trackpad > Tap to click. Thanks, Gabe.
Michael Ray Photography
It’s always been enabled though and still does it. I can’t even open a macro setting if I use the regular Magic Mouse, and it’s the 2nd gen.
Staff MEB Posted September 11, 2018 Staff Share Posted September 11, 2018 Hi Michael Ray Photography, We are aware of a few issues running macros when using a Wacom pen/tablet. Occasionally the mouse may also fail to run them specially after entering the Library panel or applying two or more macros in sequence. This may be a similar issue/same cause. I will try with my trackpad here to see if I can replicate the problem. Regarding the Magic Mouse do you mean you can't right-click an action in the Library panel and select Edit Macro? I'm using a second gen Magic Mouse and I don't have issues here. Are you using any third party menu utilities that may interfere with mouse clicks? Michael Ray Photography
I’m not using any Wacom or other tablets although I do have a magic track pad and Magic Mouse both being used simultaneously
