BillF
Inserting a page number works fine providing you want a standard number character. I've set up a master page for the front section of a book and want to change the page number format to lower case Roman numerals, e.g. i, ii etc. There does not seem to be any facility for this. Seneca
Check out Section Manager for that. 2017 27” iMac 4.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 • Radeon Pr 580 8GB • 64GB • Ventura 13.6.4. iPad Pro (10.5-inch) • 256GB • Version 16.
iceritchie
Section Manager is good and allows changes in style. I cant see how to have sections with no page numbering using section manager. i presumably i would need a specific master page for non numbered sections ie front and inside covers? BillF
Thank you Seneca and Iceritchie, I've now found it in Section Manager, however the numbering, 1, 2, 3 stopped working when the number format was changed, so I now have half a dozen pages all numbered 'i'. I have indeed set up right and left master pages for each chapter (section) of my document. The first, introduction, requiring the none standard numbering.
