Erwe
Is there a simple way to load photos of Apple photos in Affinity Photo? When i draw the stack on affinity, only one photo will be loaded.
Staff Callum Posted September 11, 2018 Staff Share Posted September 11, 2018 Hi Erwe, As far as I'm aware there is no way to do this I'm afraid. Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
R C-R
Assuming I understand what you want to do, this works for me: In the New Stack window, click Add, then in the window showing files & folders that opens, in the sidebar, look for an item named "Media." It may be near the bottom if the sidebar has a lot of items in it. Indented below Media there should be an item named "Photos" with a camera icon. If you do not see that, hover the pointer over the Media item & click the "Show" text that appears. Click on the "Photos" item, wait a few seconds for the items in your Photos library to appear, & then select as many of them from the lower part of the window as you want. Erwe
I mean with stack in photos when i take up a series (fingers at the trigger at theiPhone). Here a stack in photos: In Affinity, only the first image of the stack is loaded: I have to copy each image from the stack (or series, I do not know the English name) into a folder. It is very tedious.

In the English translation of Apple Photos these are known as "Bursts." In the Photos Help topic "View photos" there is this section that explains how to work with individual photos in the burst: I think the only way to do what you want is to use this procedure to save each photo in the burst as an individual photo. Then you can load them into Affinity Photo. It is very cumbersome to select the individual images if there are many. Thanks anyway Erwe

I agree that it is cumbersome, but I think only Apple could do anything to change that, like by allowing us to see all the images in a burst at once & selecting the ones we want to process individually, without having to scroll through them one at a time.
