Quick key for "Replace Image"

Recommended Posts

Loving this Beta so far!

Question, though: Is there a quick key for "replace image" like "command + D" in InDesign?

After laying out a grid of 50 picture frame placeholders on a single document, I am having to replace each frame with a different image. A hot key would make this process much faster.

You can add a shortcut to the place command under the File menu. You could even make it CMD + D or whatever you like. If you select the image container you can replace the image. This only works for Picture frames though...

Adding a shortcut is a good idea but CMD + D would conflict with the default for deselect, so unless that gets set to something else as well, it would not work. What does work without causing any conflicts is using something like Ctrl + P, & it works both in Picture frames (by clicking in a frame after selecting the image) & directly on a page.
