Installation of Affinity Designer on Windows 7 Service Pack 1

Recommended Posts

maybe.... you have classic desktop there... You need to turn on Aero, in Windows 7.

if you dislike a lot of the things of it, I have it enabled in its minimal expression, only what is actually needed by Affinity apps. Please check my thread here to learn which options you only need to keep enabled. As you can further customize performance/aero settings once after you activate it. Works like a charm, I don't notice anymore it is activated, did so in my first days after years with just the classic thing :

....this in case is about the Aero thing. But a lot of times when I see screenshots like that, is the Aero disabled issue.
Anyway, seems you are using some sort of a system emulator under Win 10 ? It might be due to that, too...

Forgot an  important info about it... One of the main official posts about it, lol :

Could be outdated in a collection of points, tho, as is a pretty old post.

But can give a lot of clues.
