Matthias
I suggest two grouping modes: One mode in which the individual element’s properties like line width or layer effects stay as they are when resizing the group. And then one mode in which the element’s properties grow and shrink proportionally. This choice might seem somehow esoteric but is in fact of good use. For example I made lots of little drawings for an annual report where stroke size had to remain the same throughout the book. In this case I would use the first group mode. And another loosely related suggestion: For selecting elements within a group alt-clicking (aka option-clicking) would be the more Mac-like modifier key than cmd-clicking. rui_mac
When you define Effects, there is already an option to Scale with Object there that you can turn on. Also, in the Line panel, there is also a Scale with Object option.
Matthias
Ah, I see. Those option even stay intact within a group. Great – thanks, Rui!
