Hallo, I used Corel for a long time, but now I love Afinity Designer. But I have a question. I'll give you an example.

I'm doing a graphic design for example a banner. In Corel a selected all (ctr+a) and used tool cut. Selected the area I would

like to preserve and than Enter. Picture has cuted to my selected dimension . But how can I do it in Afinity Designer please? The cut tool doesn't

work like in Corel.

Hi Pawelm and Welcome to the Forums,

I could be wrong but do you mean the Crop tool in Corel? Sadly my trial version has long expired and won't allow me to access the Cut option on the Edit menu, so i'm sure if that does more than simply cut an object and copy it to the pasteboard.

Our Crop tool is object based, so with an object selected, if you then click on the crop tool you can resize the area that's going to be cropped.

You can use the Artboard Tool and Make an Artboard from Selection.
