StuartRc Posted September 6, 2018 Share Posted September 6, 2018 Just tried to open a couple test files from previous beta....and it's crashing...(aware could be expected) I tested with 'small' previous test files and seem to open OK but multiple pages with a greater variety of objects..fails including one highlighted as a recovery file Affinity Version 1 (10.6) Affinity Version 2.4.2 All (Designer | Photo | Publisher) Beta; 2.5 2.2402 OS:Windows 10 Pro 22H2 OS Build 19045.4046+ Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19053.1000.0 Rig:AMD FX 8350 and AMD Radeon (R9 380 Series) Settings Version 21.04.01 Radeon Settings Version 2020 20.1.03) + Wacom Intuous 4M with driver 6.3.41-1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I can't open file at all, every time Publisher crashes. 96eb2763-8432-42c9-ab89-5b09d5f1395b.dmp Edit: Crash report shows up, when there's opened crash report window (where you can describe what happened and enter email). We have at least one bug here. We believe this relates to (embedded) images placed on the master page of a document not reloading into #58. IF you did not put images on your master page but cannot reload your document we are still interested in you providing your file as there may be more than one cause for these crashes. Play + Play1 open (inc drag from folder) 2. Test files Play 2 upwards....were just experiments/extended versions...which crashed (Open +drag desktop)....I have added all the files in attached .zip..enjoy! I can make any of the files crash or not crash #58 by assigning or unassigning master pages in #57 and resaving. NB: I didn't try mixing the format with Master pages and embedded/linked images (through resources links) then assigning..
