Affinity Publisher Public Beta - 1.7.0.58

Recommended Posts

Hi BLKay,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
There's a known issue with documents where masters with images applied to spreads/pages would crash the program if saved and reopened again, both from previous betas and when created from scratch in the current Beta. If you have documents in the same circumstances that's probably the cause. This should be fixed in the next update. If that's not the case do you mind uploading the publisher document so we can see what's going on?

Ok... Publisher is crashing immediately when trying to open a project I started in 1.7.0.57... Can't be bothered to start a new one at the moment... I'll come back when next update is out ;)

EDIT: probable cause is what is mentioned in post above...

Your file does indeed load into the (fixed) new build that will be released soon.

Hi.

Using latest Beta (128) with a document created a couple of betas ago, am still only seeing bleed guies on first page and not subsequent pages. Obviously the "Show Bleed" settings are on as I can see it on Page 1).

Cheers

Documents created in 128 seem to have bleeds on all pages so it looks like the previous bleed problem isn't fixed for documents already created from the previous beta. Maybe that would be expected. If you wanted to actually use that document could you create a new document in the new beta and then copy & paste from the old to the new?
