Any news on putting text to a path or circle yet? In need of this asap. Its killing me doing it in Illustrator and then hopping back?

Hi Tathaniel,

Text-on-a-path is already available in the latest Beta. It will also be available on the Mac App Store version soon (an update is coming in a couple weeks).

You can get the latest Beta from here (1.1.2.23834). Just remember that files created or saved with the Beta cannot be opened in the Mac App Store version until the MAS update (due to some differences in the file format).

Just create a path or a path object, select the Art Text Tool and approach the path with the cursor. You will immediately see that the cursor changes when you are near the path. Now click on the path, and you will get a text cursor on the path, so you can start typing ... simple as that ...  :)
