Viewing for colour blindness

Recommended Posts

Can anyone tell me if Photo or Designer allow you to see how a chart would look for someone who is colour blind?  If so, could you direct me please?  Apparently you can do this in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator by selecting View-Proof Setup-Color Blindness. It would be good for a particular job I'm about to start.

Thank you for the link to this other thread.  I just tried soft proofing colours and it didn't make much of a difference to the document as it stands and I don't know enough about ICC options to know what would be the one I need. Perhaps a colour-blindness feature can be worked into Affinity in the future? Thanks for responding.

I wonder how Adobe can do this as there are several types of color blindness.  Some of which are:

Protanomaly, which is a reduced sensitivity to red light

Deuteranomaly, which is a reduced sensitivity to green light

Tritanomaly, which is a reduced sensitivity to blue light
