Francis TL
Hello, I'm new on Affinity Designer. I really appreciate this software i discovered a month ago. I would like to snap geometrical objects, pre-defined in a library (assets) For exemple, my assets contain 3 objects : one red, one green and one blue. And i would like to snap them like that. I can't pre-define a grid, because the angles are not always the sames. I can use the Affinity snaping function to set easily a first shared point beetween two objets, when I move the second objet I want to snap to the first one. But if i use the rotate function to complete the movement, i'm not sure to define accuratly the right angle to make the two objects perfectly match. What is the best way to perform this operation ? Thanks a lot. Francis
Staff Lee D Posted September 5, 2018 Staff Share Posted September 5, 2018 You could try using the Rotation field on the Transform panel to ensure you have the correct exact angle. Francis TL
Francis TL
Thanks a lot Lee for this quick answer. It works perfectly ! I guess, with this answer, that, at this stage of the software developemnt , there is no way to automaticaly get the correct exact angle, provided by the software. Is it that ?
