JustinW
Finally managed to install. Neither download nor install were straightforward. Didn't think s/w had downloaded until I saw dmg file in Finder. Opened dmg but didn't think it installed until I saw app in download area of Finder. Could not drag it to Apps area. Finally figured out I could copy/paste App to desktop and then drag it to Apps area. Now it's finally in right place and opens and runs properly. This will probably all get corrected eventually. wonderings
I had no issues when I downloaded it last week. Opened up the .dmg file and then dragged and dropped the app into the application folder and started up. Could not have been simpler. If Publisher follows the same distribution channels as Photo and Designer on the Mac (and I suspect it might), it will only be sold through Apple's Mac App Store. Therefore it will be directly installed immediately after purchase, without users having to "muck about" with DMG files or installers, etc. This is just the method used for distribution during the beta stage.
