[gawr-juhs] Posted September 4, 2018 Share Posted September 4, 2018 Hi folks. I recently downloaded the beta of Affinity Publisher to my MacBookPro. I now want to move my purchased copies of Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo from my iMac to my MacBookPro, so that I have the whole suite of apps on one machine. Can anyone point me to a thread or a "How to" guide which deals with uninstalling Affinity apps from one machine and then reinstalling them on another. Staff MEB Posted September 4, 2018 Staff Share Posted September 4, 2018 Hi [gawr-juhs], Welcome to Affinity Forums You don't have to uninstall the apps from your iMac to be able to install them on your MacBook Pro if you don't want to. You can have them installed on more than one machine as long as you are the only one using the applications for commercial purposes (and own/control all the Macs). Regarding your question: to install them on your MacBook Pro, open the Mac App Store, make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used to buy the apps, go to the Purchased tab (on top) and click the Install button in front of the respective apps from the list below. If you are using/running macOS Mojave Beta you can access the Purchased section clicking on your name on the bottom left of the Mac App Store app. To uninstall the apps, drag them from the Applications folder to the Trash.
