Hi Andrew Bebb,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
Affinity Designer doesn't provide templates/clipart but you can download them from multiple sites on the net (some free, some paid). Affinity Designer supports a wide range of formats (EPS, AI, SVG, PSD  etc) so you shouldn't have trouble importing/getting them into the app. You can then use the Assets panel to store/quickly re-use them when needed.
