Apply change to selection

Recommended Posts

Hi @Kennethchase

That is very easy to do. You didn't say Photo or Designer but they are fairly similar

Take these four ladies as an example.

Make a pixel selection of the face you want to change. I selected the face of the lady 2nd from left
because she was the darkest to start with.

Apply a Levels Adjustment and it will be masked inside the pixel selection area.

Adjust to suit.

I deliberately overdid it a bit for demonstration purposes.

A pixel selection is what the selection tool makes. The dotted lines (called marching ants) are there to indicate the selected area.

What is happening for you?

Potential problem. Wrong layer selected?

If you added an adjustment layer, make sure you are not trying to select on that. Tap on the pixel layer in the Layers Studio.
