A-Pub: Construction tools

Just a question : Does anyone know what the "Construction" tools are for ?

When I try to make a 3-point circle, I indeed get a circle, but the stroke is purple and the colour can't be changed,

nor is the stroke visible when switching to, say, the move tool.

So : What does the construction tool actually do ?

Any help is much appreciated, as ever.

I'm not sure what you mean by Construction tools. I don't think I've seen that term or anything like that in my copy of the program.

Transform tools are active now too, but I didn't test them really. They're used with the node tool.

Haha, thanks for this, we forget to look at those new options we were dreaming of in Designer features roadmap!

The purple color generally means that you have enabled "Show snapping candidates" in your Snapping options (Magnet pulldown from the toolbar).

The stroke is probably only visible if you chose to have a stroke when you created the object, like with other vector objects.
