Mike Nielsen Posted August 31, 2018 Share Posted August 31, 2018 Hi, I'm having trouble with using Affinity photo as an external editor. I have set up the necessary steps to associate Affinity as an external editor to Lightroom 5. I can select a file in Lightroom and the normal dialogue box pops up and Affinity photo opens as normal. When I go to save the normal save dialogue appears and I have tried to Save and to Save as. No edited file appears in Lightroom. What am I doing wrong ? We can currently only save back to Lightroom in .PSD or .tiff files, each of which have a slightly different setup. For .tiff, please follow the instructions here - For .PSD, please open Preferences>General and tick Enable "Save" over imported PSD files. I've just finished post processing the photos from a friends wedding hence my tardiness in replying to you, sorry about that. Having affinity photo at my elbow so to speak helped a lot.
