There should be a drop-down in the context toolbar for the cat tool to select a breed, too.

I agree. I'm sure this will come. But InDesign still hasn't got this feature or anything similar after over 20 years development. I sometimes think software developers don't live in the real world. Meanwhile as a workaround you could create different breeds and save them as cat assets.

Just wondering why the cat tool has no nodes.

You have to convert it to curves. I tried this also with our cats at home, but this gave me bad results. :(

Strange, here it always looks like this ...

Are you a Muggle?

Not sure what you mean. dict.cc is proposing several translations: a) technical analphabet or b) or someone who is unable to perform magic. 🤨

I think both fits to me.

By the way, 1.9 has a different cat tool:

If you like the old one you should save a copy as an asset before you update from 1.8 to 1.9 :)

hello there, how do I get the old, much cuter and sassier cat tool please? The new cat tool is verrry boring.

At this time, if you did not save the resulting shape as an asset or similar, the only known way would be to revert to an older version of the software.

That said, I agree that the older cat was better, thus the desire for a drop-down to select a particular breed or pose.
