Lindblad Posted August 31, 2018 Share Posted August 31, 2018 I copied/pasted text from another program into a text frame in Publisher, reduced the size of the frame to force the text to overflow/overset then linked to a new text frame. The copy in the linked frame flowed in at a smaller point size. If I selected all on the copy, the text height box shows the size at 13 pt, if I select just the text in the right hand column/text frame it's 9.9 pt. I closed the file and tried a few more times and can't replicate the problem but it was there. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
A_B_C Posted August 31, 2018 Share Posted August 31, 2018 That is because you used the wrong handle to resize your text frame. At the bottom right of each text frame are two handles. One is for simply resizing the text frame without affecting the font size of the text (green arrow) and the other one is for resizing the text frame together with the font size of the text contained within (red arrow).
