Eugene Tyson
I think this should be a menu all by itself, import tools hidden in sub menus is not a good UI Cuando
Eugene Tyson
Come to think of it - could make the "Zoom" into sub menus. Seems counter-intuitive to have the zooms lots of options, and important tools in sub menus.
Eugene Tyson
Just wanted to put this up again as it didn't get any replies. Is it just me, or should this menu be reorganised and split?
Dave Harris
Yes, you're right, and we are planning to re-arrange the menus, especially the Studio one. And I just noticed the Zoom one is already a sub-menu on Windows, so Mac is being inconsistent. stmartin, A_B_C, Aammppaa and 1 other

I agree with this as unless you're already used to Affinity apps, there's a lot of stuff hidden in there that you wouldn't look for coming from Adobe. Some things need to be broken out into other areas entirely. Like Find and Replace... that panel needs to be accessible from the Edit menu because nearly every other app I know that uses this function, places it in the Edit menu. That may not be part of Apple's HUI guideliness (not sure) but it's a sort of defacto standard IMO because devs have been placing find-related functionality there for so long. But can't Studio control be a panel or dialog so that we can click on /off many panels at once, rather than going via the menu numerous times. And the same panel could allow the user to load and save workspaces Quote Win10 Home x64 | AMD Ryzen 7 2700X @ 3.7GHz | 48 GB RAM | 1TB SSD | nVidia GTX 1660 | Wacom Intuos Pro
