UI: Sub-menu for Studio could be a menu on it's own

Yes, you're right, and we are planning to re-arrange the menus, especially the Studio one. And I just noticed the Zoom one is already a sub-menu on Windows, so Mac is being inconsistent.

Good deal. I agree with this as unless you're already used to Affinity apps, there's a lot of stuff hidden in there that you wouldn't look for coming from Adobe. Some things need to be broken out into other areas entirely. Like Find and Replace... that panel needs to be accessible from the Edit menu because nearly every other app I know that uses this function, places it in the Edit menu. That may not be part of Apple's HUI guideliness (not sure) but it's a sort of defacto standard IMO because devs have been placing find-related functionality there for so long.

Hooray, have been wishing for this in Designer for years!

But can't Studio control be a panel or dialog so that we can click on /off many panels at once, rather than going via the menu numerous times.

And the same panel could allow the user to load and save workspaces :)

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU ;). not only it makes all three apps "stand out" more from the adobe products with its naming "studio", it also makes the idea of "persona" more unique. and of course (the most IMPORTANT one) it makes it so so much easier to work with the studio panels.

also it would be very very handy, if we could align the panels in two or three rows so we can use our bigger screens more efficient.
